First: Research Formatting

1. Research words should not be more than (8000) words including both Arabic and English abstracts, sources and references, footnotes as well as appendices (if any). Should the number of words exceed the permissible limit, the researcher shall pay an additional fee for publication of (20) dollars or its equivalent in Jordanian dinars for each additional page.

2. Words of the abstract should not be more than (200) words.

3. There should be one space between the research lines and one inch between the footnotes.

4. The research is printed with one space between the lines and one inch between the footnotes. Font size of the texts written in Arabic should be (13/ Simplified Arabic) with a space of (3 cm)- top and bottom, and (2.5 cm)- left and left-hand sides.

5. As for the font size of the texts written in English, it should be (12/ Times New Roman) with a space of (3 cm)- top and bottom, and (2.5 cm)- left and left-hand sides.

6. Font size of the manuscripts written in Arabic should be 15/ boldfaced (main title), 14/ boldfaced (sub-titles) and 10 (footnotes & appendices).

7. Font size of the manuscripts written in English should be 13/ boldfaced (main title), 12/ boldfaced (sub-titles) and 10 (footnotes & appendices).

8. Illustrations and tables are included in the research works in their proper places, provided that they are numbered appropriately. Each table should contain an illustrative title on its top and an explanatory description on its bottom. This also applies to the illustrations.

9. The Editorial Board is entitled to make any amendments in the research form like font size, font type and line spacing in accordance with the Journal's regulations.
Second: Research Elements & Organization

1. Providing an abstract in Arabic if the manuscript is written in Arabic and a translation thereof or vice versa. This should contain a general idea about the relevant research and its content, methodology, vision and a detailed account on its organization.

2. Providing an introduction including the following ideas: research subject, problems, questions, aims, justifications, methodology, procedures, framework, organization as well as major sources and outcomes.

3. The research should be written in a very solid error-free language (semantically, syntactically or typographically) with special attention to the punctuation marks.

4. Providing literature review that (fully or partially) intersects with the research/manuscript intended to be published.

5. Research shall be divided into a main title, sequentially-ordered and thematically- linked sub-titles provided that the researcher should take on board the font size and type as stipulated in the Regulations of Formatting and Organization (first item above).

6. Including a conclusion in the end of the research involving the main outcomes and the recommendations.

7. Including an alphabetically-ordered list of bibliography: (Sources and References).

8. Charts and illustrations are included into the text and sequentially ordered. Their names and explanatory descriptions are provided thereunder.

9. Tables are included into the text and sequentially ordered. Their names are provided on their top, whereas explanatory descriptions are provided thereunder.

10. Appendices and indexes- if any- are included in the end of the research.
Third: Regulations of Citation

1. Font size of the research/manuscripts' footnotes should be 10 with a one-inch space between the lines.

2. Research must number the footnotes in a hierarchal fashion separately on each page. They should appear in the bottom of the respective page from (1) to (2) to (3)…, numbering in the following page starts anew: (1, 2, 3, …) and so on until the end of the research.

Footnotes citation shall follow the following procedure:
- - From the Old Sources and References
Footnotes citation from the old sources should include: Surname (Author's Family Name), Writer/Author's Name, Hijri Date of Death, Book/Manuscript's Name, Reviewer's Name, Edition, Publishing House, Place of Publication, Year of Publication, Part/Page.
- - From the New Sources and References
Footnotes citation from the new sources should include: Surname (Author's Family Name), Writer/Author's Name, Book/Manuscript's Name, Edition, Publishing House, Place of Publication, Year of Publication, Part/Page.
- - From a Research in a Journal
Footnotes citation from a research in a journal should include: Surname (Author's Family Name), Writer/Author's Name, Research Title, Journal's Name, Issue (Volume), Year of Publication, Page.
- -From an MA or a PhD Dissertation
Footnotes citation from an MA or a PhD Dissertation should include: Surname (Author's Family Name), Writer/Author's Name, Dissertation Title, University Name, City, Country, Year of Publication, Page.
- -From a Webpage
Footnotes citation from a webpage should include: Surname (Author's Family Name), Writer/Author's Name, Topic Title, Date of Publication, Publication Website and Place, Electronic Link.
- - From a Newspaper Article or Official Publication
Footnotes citation from a newspaper article or official Publication should include: Surname (Author's Family Name), Writer/Author's Name, Article Title, Name of Newspaper/Publication, Day, Month and Year of Publication, Article's Webpage.
